If you live near or pass by the Agency this week, you might see a red pegasus standing guard.

Sometimes standing, anyway. Sometimes Kyouko flies lazy circles around around the Agency. Oftentimes, she's lying on the roof, watching for anyone approaching.

She barely sleeps and is only occasionally missing from the area. Otherwise, she's a mainstay for the time being.

And she'll try to get to know the Agency members while she's here.

Don't be afraid to approach. That's only a spear and a magical girl outfit. Nothing too dangerous, if your name isn't Lucifer.

"Have you slept lately?" This comes from Luna who is strolling up, looking a little tired as well. She had just come down from orbit after all.

Well, as long as she's not reminded of the fact...

"No." Her soul gem, on her front, glows a little and she shakes her head to clear the tiredness from it. "Ya don' look so good yerself."

"We just came down from orbit. Tis going slow there," said Luna, stifling a yawn. "We were about to go to bed before noticing you here."

Frowns. "Tryin' ta hurt Zetta?" She's seen a little of what's gone on in the scrolls since Zetta's announcement. "Did it work?"

Teddie, being as supportive as ever, is outside as well, sitting in front of the agency door and...watching. Watching is supportive! ...He thinks. Of course, after awhile of watching someone patrol in circles gets boring and Teddie begins to resort to his usual boredom reducing activities.

Like, rolling.

When rolling proves to be just as boring after a period of time, and surprisingly dirty when it's rolling in dirt, his second resort becomes drawing. Lots and lots of drawing. Pretty soon he has the beginnings of a small stack, that's just how dedicated he is to being supportive.

"If you ever wanna take a break indoors, I'm more than happy to oblige~"

Kyouko sits down, finally, next to him, looking over his shoulder at the drawings. "An' do what?"

She likes having him for company, of course. But she's a little anxious at the thought of leaving the place unguarded.

"I dunno. Eat. Take a nap. Eat and take a nap at the same time." He believes they have a word for that, too. It's called 'choking'.

Any and all drawings Teddie did are pretty straight forward, just caricatures of familiar faces all around town. Mostly the IT, Teddie himself, and of course Kyouko. A few exceptions being Minato, Marty, and even Bon Bon. It's definitely amateur hour over here, no one said Teddie was an artist.

"Dontcha get hot out here?"

While Minato isn't part of the Agency, he does stop by frequently enough to notice the new face.

"Wasn't aware Yu hired a guard."

"He din't." Kyouko stares down at him from the roof. "Came here myself."

"...Then why are you outside on the roof?"

[ponymechanic]

Tails usually worked for the Agency, so he was a bit surprised to see her.

"Oh hello. Did Yu hire you today?"

[kuukai]

"Gonna haveta meet this Yu." She stops flying for a moment and comes to land in front of the other pony. "Yer the second pony who's assumed that."

[ponymechanic]

"He and Yukiko are the ones in charge of the Agency. He's a grey earth pony with a bowlcut hair-style. Pretty hard to miss him."

He then recalls that scroll message with Lucifer.

"Then what were you doing on the roof?"

After that little blow up and discussion with Lucifer, Yukiko was more worried about her friends. So when she came back with some back up supplies, she couldn't help but notice the red pegasus around the Agency. Who was this?

"Ah, hello there."

[kuukai]

"Hey." Kyouko yelled from the roof. She jumped down and landed in front of Yukiko. "Ya live here, right?"

[gigglesnortpriestess]

She nodded, recognizing the voice from the scroll when she was talking before. "I guess you can call me a co-owner. I'm Yukiko Amagi and I think I've met you before but I didn't get your name."

On the third day of circling around... and the day after Chie found out what Kyouko was doing, she ventured out during the early parts of the evening and sat outside. A bag was in her mouth and she looked up at the tell-tale sounds of pegasus flying overhead.

Once she saw her coming around the bend again, she brought both hooves to her mouth and gave a very loud TWEEEEEEEEEEEET. She had hope this would have been enough to get her attention. The earth pony had something to share with their new guard.

Kyouko nearly fell out of the sky. She whirled around to find the assailant (she'd been watching the air, not the ground), and found... oh, just Chie.

She landed on the ground in front of Chie. "Yeah?" She wasn't sure whether to be annoyed at the startle, or happy to see a new friend. She settled for remaining neutral. Maybe she'd get whatever was in the bag.

She saw that look well. Curiosity, heh heh. Well, as much as she could toy with Kyouko to see if she'd be willing to wait out finding out what she had brought, that was more a certain store manager's son's way of doing things.

So, she reached into her bag and pulled out a bowl of, huh... well what do you know.

"You hungry?" Chie asked with a big smile.

There is no sound of hooves setting down, no gentle tapping on the tiles, when Hikaru appears. There is only her, lying directly next to, smiling at her as her red and blue eyes boil in the night like unnatural fires pitched by long dead tribes.

"Hi," she says, as casually as if she was talking to an old friend.

And then her hoof comes from the side, trying to connect with Kyouko's skull and knock her from the roof.

No warning. Kyouko had been sure she'd be ready for Hikaru when she showed up. The blow sent her reeling, and she crashed onto the ground below.

Groaning, she picked herself up. "You!" Her wings flared, and she used her magic to transform. Her spear points directly at Lucifer.

"Get the buck outta here. Now."

Teddie, once again sitting outside minding his own business with his drawings, immediately lifts his head away from his work when he sees the plummeting Kyouko. It goes without saying that he is significantly rattled.

"K-Kyo-chan!"

He scrambled over to her, papers flying behind him as he slides to a stop and sees who she's yelling at.

Oh.

Today, a young unicorn filly is on her way home from a walk around town. Things had been pretty crazy lately, with that Zetta guy threatening whatever he was doing with planets, she couldn't exactly follow it. But she knew it didn't sound good!

Still, she's trying not to let it dampen her spirits just yet. She looks as cheerful as ever, her mane done up in those perky little twintails with the sun-themed hairclips she bought from Coco as decoration.

As she approaches the front door, she notices a red pegasus nearby and gives a curious tilt of her head. She'd never seen her around before...

"Hello?"

She trots up to the apparently older girl, peering closer until she finally puts together a theory.

"Oh! You must be... Kyouko-chan, right?"

That look of realization is quick to become an amused, somewhat teasing smile. She hasn't met her before, but she's put together enough little bits of information from Teddie. And what other girl would be hanging around the Agency so much lately?

"I'm Rise Kujikawa. Nice to finally meet you!"

She could still be wrong, she doesn't really know for sure. But she's almost certain it must be the infamous girl-Teddie-totally-has-a-crush-on!

"Yeah, tha's me. Rise, huh?" Kyouko grins and finishes off the Pocky stick she's been eating. With her, Kyouko's just about met the entire Agency. She just hadn't expected Rise to be so much... younger than Teddie.

"Been wonderin' when ya might show up." She holds out the box of Pocky. "Want some?"

If only Rise had any idea how old Teddie had been claiming to be. She'd always thought of him as kind of the annoying but sometimes cute little brother of the Agency group, ever since she arrived. And with him being a bear, it's hard to say which of them looks older.

The subject is bound to come up at some point. But for now, she just smiles at Kyouko's offer.

"Oh, sure!" Using her unicorn magic, she pulls out a Pocky stick and munches on it while it floats in the air. "Thanks..."

While she munches on the Pocky, she glances around at the Agency a bit, "Have you been waiting here...?"
