Nozomi couldn't stand it anymore. Everytime she looked at the scrolls, it was something about what the princesses and Zetta did. It was either ponies calling for their heads, ponies apologizing for not giving them the faith they needed, ponies rage quitting, and ponies more or less felling outright confused. SO. How do you fix this?

Well, I'm not certain, but for Nozomi? She's going around and knocking at doors and offering hugs. Because, seriously? They're needed. Everypony's so hurt right now, they just need to know there's someone there for them!

So, right now, you'll probably have a familiar maroon-maned pony approaching you, or knocking on your door, or otherwise just making her presence known.

Because, seriously? It's needed.

It was dark out by the time Skyfire had managed to drag himself out of the partly completed underground community shelter that he'd been working on. He still looked like a wreck, was dirty and had bandages wrapped around the tips of his 'fingers' to try and keep him from licking the damage there and his badly shredded claws.

Skyfire was feeling a bit better having talked to others now and having a rest, but he was still in a rather low mood. He still missed Mani and he didn't even know where to start sorting his feelings out about what happened in the last while. Really, with all the stress and such, he didn't know what to do anymore. His normal coping methods proved to be a very bad idea in an organic form, since it couldn't handle the punishment he put it through.

In the end, he finds himself just laying in a field of grass with his head down feeling quite out of sorts... picking absentmindedly at the bandages on his paws.

(OoC: Sure, that's no problem at all!)

Nozomi had been well on her way with her hugging spree. It was making her feel better as well as making others do the same. As she did, she ended up wandering into the field of grass where Skyfire had been. And noticing that he was picking at his bandaged paws.

"H-Hey! Don't do that, it'll get worse!" she said, worriedly approaching the dragon.

Skyfire blinked and looked confused a moment, before looking rather embarrassed as he realized what he'd been doing. He shifted his paws to put them together in such a position that he can't pick at the bandages, but winced as he does.

"I have no idea why I keep doing that..." He swears that his body has it's own agenda sometimes...

"Are you okay? What happened?" Nozomi asked, moving closer. Whatever he was doing, it had to have hurt for him to have it all bandaged up.

"I'll... be fine." He gives her a smile, even if it's not quite a full one. "I... overworked myself... a lot." It's not the whole truth, but close enough.

"I tried to work to the levels that I did before I came here." His voice got quiet and he sighed more to himself "It was stupid of me and I'm paying for it now." Skyfire ached a fair bit, having never really pushed his body as far as he did. He'd recover, but his body wasn't going to let him forget what he'd done anytime soon.

"Oh... you shouldn't do that, even if you're used to it with your old body. You'd just hurt yourself in the long run." Nozomi said. "You were trying to help the others, weren't you?"

It was probably obvious that he was, but...

"Believe me, it's something I'm not going to forget for a long time." He was going to be feeling the aches for a good while. Sometimes pain really was the best teacher.

"I was trying to get an emergency bunker built in case things went really wrong..." In hindsight, he really should have made an announcement on the scrolls about what he was doing or something, but Skyfire was so used to doing everything by himself that he'd forgotten.

An emergency bunker. How many ponies/dragons/etc. were trying to get ready for something that was essentially a lie? Either way, it was for a noble cause, however misguided.

"And you did it by yourself, huh?" Nozomi said, looking a little sad at Skyfire.

Considering there wasn't anything set up for emergency shelter besides the community center, he thinks it a worthwhile thing to have anyways. At least if it was built, there was a safe place for others to go if anything happened in the future.

At her words, he looks really embarrassed and sheepish.

"I... kind of forgot to tell anyone over the scrolls what I was doing..." He'd set up things so others could have copies of the plans and ways to help out... and then didn't mention anything about it. He felt quite stupid about doing that.

"It's okay. It was quite hectic and, well... heh, what can I say? We were all trying to get ready for everything." Nozomi said, chuckling.

With that, she finally got close to Skyfire and, despite the fact that he's huge, hugged him. Which looked more like she flopped on top of his arm.

"It doesn't make me feel any less stupid though." He does smile a little. "At least perhaps the shelter can still be useful when it's done, if there is another emergency."

He was a bit surprised by the hug, but it was a welcome surprise. It was a bit of a reflexive action, but he leaned in to give her a nuzzle with his snout like he used to do with Mani.
