Box adventures
Who:Shadow, OTA
What: Delivery griffon has found a box.
Where:The Library
When:Mid Afternoon on the 6th
Warnings: Kitten cuteness
Prose or Commentspam: Preference for prose but either will do.
Oh, the trip to Canterlot was quite interesting, especially getting in touch with this griffon society to get a steady shipment of meat coming his way when he wasn't in the mood to hunt for the winter. He could probably get by on milk and cheese, but too much of that was no good for his tummy.
Now, in payment for the food, Shadow agreed to fly in a few packages from canterlot to ponyville, and one large box to be delivered to the library. Full of books.
Knocking once, he didn't get an answer, but it was a library so he let himself in. It was then that he realized that whatever pony ordered these was probably just going to throw away the cardboard box, and well--
Look, he's a cat. He can't help himself.
He unboxed the books, leaving them in a box shaped pile on the floor, then climed into the box, rubbing his head against the cardboard, and fluhmped into the bottom of it. There he stayed for a while, before deciding to drift off into a nap, right in the middle of anypony's way walking in.

oh. They were actually kind of sort of still in good condition. Good thing she'd cleaned the floors recently. For now she decides to let sleeping almost-griffons lie and picks up the books with her magic. Shelving time!
"...okay this goes over here, in the nonfiction section for magical phenomena..."
That said, she can't help talking to herself while she works...

Magic? Or... Just reference books?
He brings a paw around to move a book towards him so he could read the title.

Twilight doesn't notice that her magic was slightly interfered with, or just chose to pay it no heed.

He picks up the book in his claws and flicks through the pages. Oddly enough it is relevant to his interests. He knew well enough not to be too cavalier around certain plants, especially when some could actually be mobile and necessarily hungry for flesh!
"Are you the librarian?" And he turns his attention onto her from the book's pages. Nice illustrations.

"I am. Oh, you can keep the box if you'd like; I don't think I'll need another one in the near future."

"Oh. Thanks." A reading cave for now.
"So is there a book about fauna? I wouldn't mind a guide to things that if I eat they will kill me." IE Venomous and poisonous.

"You're planning on living in the Everfree?"
