The Great Rainbow Dash Intervention
Who: Rainbow Dash, anyone in the library, then all of Ponyville, and maybe even eventually Rainbow Dash
What: AU!Dash has been avoiding OU!Dash. Almost everypony thinks this is a bad idea.
Where: Starting in the Ponyville Library. Possibly coming to engulf all off Equestria.
When: Noon.
Warnings: Comedic violence. No posting order!
Prose or Commentspam: Prose. Let's keep it to one giant Benny Hill-style thread too!
Rainbow Dash came through the library window. That in and of itself wasn't unusual. Her particular method was, though -- while normally Rainbow would fly on through cheerfully, today she downright oozed in, keeping herself pressed flat against the wall and maintaining as low a profile as possible, shrouded by her black coat and every inch of her attuned to the possibility of being spotted.
Once she was inside, she reached up, swung the library window carefully shut, then stood up with a gasp of relief. "Made it," she said to herself with a satisfied nod, then turned to the shelves to hunt down that copy of Daring Do and the Perilous Pegasus she knew Twilight had stashed away.

Perfect. It was probably not healthy for that to be happening.
While she's not looking at them, Twilight will seal the windows closed. Probably better to stay quiet herself, though.

She needed a breather after that whole Lyra/Inves debacle, and what better breather than Daring Do! However, having read her own books quite a number of times, including her brought-from-home-copy of Daring Do and the Ring of Destiny, she needed to mix it up.
But first...before mixing it up, she had her usual rounds to take care of! That's why the Pegasus was currently on a cloud just a few meters or so above the library, sleeping peacefully and never once heard her other self sneak in.

Well, drat. Rainbow considered her options, then began sneaking towards the front door.

Rainbow,
Your other-dimensional counterpart is in the library. She will probably leave by the front door.
Don't try to use the window to get in.
-Twilight
There's a quick alert on this message, which shouldn't be audible to most ponies at distance.

She grins lightly and grabs hold of the cloud with her hooves before speeding through the sky and toward Twilight's front door just as requested. The moment her other self tried to escape, she would see a not-so-happy Pegasus atop a cloud waiting for her.
no subject
She slammed the door shut with a yelp, back and shoulders pressed to it as she looked frantically around for some other means of escape.
no subject
"You know what this is about, don't you?"
no subject
"Twilight, you gotta hide me! The other me is out there and she won't take 'no' for an answer! If I meet her, she's DOOMED!"
Because obviously, Twilight would help her, right?

"I know...I know." The unicorn places a hoof on Rainbow's shoulder. "I just need you to stay calm, okay? Deep breaths."
no subject
Rainbow trotted in place briefly, fidgety and worried.

"Rainbow, meet Rainbow."

"Everyone listen! The black coated Rainbow Dash is fleeing from a much-needed meeting with her counterpart. Do not let her escape! I repeat: do not let her escape! Restrain her and notify everyone over the scrolls once you do!"
no subject
Maybe if Rainbow Dash were more subtle, she might have gotten out the balcony doors with a moment or two of stealth. Nope. The pegasus vaults the railing outside and hits the air flapping, heading for the main streets of Ponyville. Surely someone will help her!

"Heh, sounds like you got yourself a mess. Keep going, maybe I can try to throw them off!" Sonic said, getting in a good distance away from Rainbow and pointing towards an alleyway. "In there, everyone!"
Fooling people? Nah, but it doesn't hurt to try!

Rainbow should've looked behind her, because this Rainbow Dash had seen her less-than-subtle escape from the balcony, leaving her cloud in front of Twiiight's door and zooming right after her other self.
She sped past Sonic on the way, silently vowing to meet him someday while heading down the alleyway. The race was on!
no subject
Forget galloping! Rainbow took to the air again to zoom down another alley, blasting through a stack of trash cans as she did.

In a panic, she flailed her way right-side up and took off in the opposite direction, counting on the sudden 180 to confound her counterpart and buy her the precious moments she needed to get clear once again.

This wasn't a normal day, and this Rainbow Dash was too focused: much like she was when Applejack tried to skip out on admitting the truth back in Dodge Junction. Once she saw her other self abruptly vanish, she quickly made that same turn but was able to avoid slamming into the wall and took only a moment to spot her fleeing self before resuming the chase.
"You can't get away from me THAT EASILY!!!" she shouted loudly, pouring on the speed as she was getting quite impatient with her other self by this point.
no subject
And she got lucky.
Seeing them barreling straight towards her, she took half a second to begin erecting an oval barrier which would leave no escape for either of them.
