Well, the day was set. Tom Shanks threw the proverbial gauntlet, and the time the ponies had left to live on the commune were numbered.

Or were they?

The commune was an important place for the off-worlders since their arrival. It was one of the first places established by the off-worlders. And there were few ponies who would allow for Tom Shanks to take it from them. It was time to fight back...by raising the money needed to save the commune!

Too bad there wasn't a worldwide race being announced with a 1.5 million bit prize pot. Or a dance off. Or a contest of any kind for another month. But everypony would surely find a way to pitch in!

So, everypony, what will you do? You'd better figure it out - the clock is ticking.

( PING PONG )

[[OOC: This is the Ping Pong event. All competitors will hit back and forth until one of them misses or hits out of bounds. Misses/out of bounds hits will be determined by RNG. Once both competitors reply to a round within the appropriate stage, the mods will a comment letting them know who should miss/hit out for that round. The players can then play this out as they would like. There will be three rounds, and the opponent who misses once or less (i.e. scores 2 or more points) will move on to the next stage with a new match-up. Each stage will have a top-level comment with competitors having a sub-comment. To keep the flow of things, there will not be separate comments for the different rounds.
